Selling from India to the West is a trust problem before it's a marketing problem. Almost all of it is decided before the first call.
What the buyer is actually worried about
Not your engineering. They assume that's fine — India's reputation for technical capability is settled. What they're worried about is whether you'll still be there in eighteen months, whether the person on the call is the person doing the work, and what happens when something goes wrong at 3am their time.
They're not comparing your code. They're pricing their risk.
Where it gets decided
Before the call. On your website, in your LinkedIn, in whether a named human is visible anywhere, in whether your case studies describe outcomes or list technologies.
What closes it
Specificity and continuity. Named people with faces. A clear account of how the engagement is run when things go wrong. Clients in their timezone who'll take a reference call. None of this is marketing spend — it's a decision to be legible.
